Snoop Dogg planned a big 4/20 party in Hollywood Saturday - huge surprise there, we know - but the cops came and shut it down before it even got underway
He hadn't even shown up at the "Snoop Lion 4/20 Festival" yet.
What was supposed to be a giant party held in a Hollywood Hills mansion to commemorate April 20 didn't even make it to 4:20 p.m. before being dispersed.
Multiple neighbors in the surrounding area complained about the noise levels, the parking problems and the lack of a permit for an event of that size.
Local cops arrived and broke it up in the early afternoon.
TMZ sources say Snoop was not cited in the incident.
Snoop arrived just as the party was being shut down. He spoke to police and was incredibly cooperative and understood why they put the kibosh on the shindig.
He is nothing if not a mellow individual these days
